Josh Lai completed both his BSc. (Industrial Chemistry) and MSc. (Polymer Technology) in University of Technology Malaysia. After graduation, he joined Research Instruments Sdn. Bhd. in 2009 leading him over 15 years of experiences in material characterization specializing in thermal and rheological analysis. Initially focused on thermal analyzers (DSC, TGA, TMA, SDT and DMA) and rheometer, then he extended his technical support to different product range which includes thermal conductivity/diffusivity meter, Infra-red and Raman spectrometer. In 2015, he continued his career with Anton-Paar Malaysia holding Technical Support Specialist role not limited to rheology but also extended to wet chemistry microwave digester system. At present, Josh Lai is the Senior Application Specialist position in TA Instruments – Waters Analytical Instruments Malaysia. To date, Josh Lai has conducted more than 60 instrumentation trainings to institutions and has handled more than 30 types of sample for material characterization.
