Instrumentation and Software Insights of Rheology and Thermal Analysis
Overview: Instrumentation and Software Insights for Polymers and Adhesives
The world of rheology is always developing in terms of the instrumentation used to characterize polymers and adhesives. In this presentation, we will discuss some fundamentals of polymer and adhesive testing, as well as some accessories that we have introduced recently that may provide more insights into the performance of these materials. We will also discuss key features and recent developments with our Trios software program that can make rheological testing and data analysis more convenient.
Overview: Thermal Analysis Instrumentation and TRIOS Software Overview
The thermal properties of new materials have become an indispensable measurement to nearly every analytical and production laboratory. This presentation will begin on the fundamentals of Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA) and Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) and how they relate to experimental optimization for different materials. We will also discuss some key features within TRIOS, which is TA Instruments software platform for the Discovery instruments. The following TRIOS topics will be discussed: tips and tricks in utilizing the software platform, expediting a common analysis, as well a general overview of our newly released thermal AutoPilot and Kinetics Analysis Suite.
