Practical Aspects of Kinetics Determination by Thermal Analysis
This presentation describes how DSC and TGA are used to obtain kinetic parameters and the relative merits of each approach. Guidelines will be given for the selection of the best approach and insight will be shared regarding the common uses of kinetic parameters specifically for hazard evaluation and lifetime estimation. Finally a few practical suggestions will be made that guide the experimentalist to obtain the most reliable results.
